Bienvenue, Willkommen, Welcome, Bienvendidos
Français, Etrangers, Fremden, Foreigners, Amigos, Friends, Amis, and all others are very welcome to the 2012 Paris Ile de France Triathlon.
Our ambition: that this competition is International, popular, friendly and convivial. We are here to provide you with an original journey through the city of light, from daybreak to daylight!
Paris is one of the fastest races for quicker triathletes and also an innovative and enriching experience for beginners. From the Alexandre III bridge where you will be the "Star under the Tsar bridge " to the welcome on the Iéna Bridge from our famous “Iron Lady”, you can dream, like Marie Antoinette entering Paris for the first time, that for just a short while Paris is yours!
Some 500 volunteers on land and on water will be on hand to look after your wellbeing and we thank them in advance for their support. For the Organizing Committee, it is a long process lasting many months. For you, this means the promise of a visit to the city of Paris that offers endless avenues for cultural enrichment. It's a Sunday outing in the city of lights using multiple forms of transport to get up close to many monuments over a few hours for the less trained to one hour forty five minutes for the fittest!
Whatever your time on the day, we are doing all we can to ensure a fantastic event in 2012 that will remain forever in your memories. Here’s to a beautiful race!
